The secretary general of the Ministry of Universities and Research Company, Antonio Sanchez-Solis, and the Director General of Trade and Handicrafts, Julio José Lorenzo, today introduced the XXV and Crafts Trade Show of Christmas, which this year has 98 stands, ten more than in 2008, which means increasing the supply over 12 percent.
The exhibition, located on the Paseo Alfonso X, is organized by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Research, through the Directorate General of Commerce and Handicrafts, with the city of Murcia and runs from Dec. 4 until 5 January, open from 11:00 to 14:00 hours and 17:00 to 21:00.
Sanchez-Solis said the show "and a long tradition in society for a month becomes a major attraction for citizens to enjoy the city center, streamlining the business and contributing to the promotion of handicrafts regional.

The celebration of this traditional market is covered by the Trade Promotion Plan 2008-2010, since its installation contributes to reactivate the properties in the area, as well as convert the center into a tourist attraction and first-class citizen and polarize attention to the old city.
The sample consists of 98 booths of artisans and institutions and five nongovernmental organizations that offer their products in two shifts.
