The team's action plan for 2009-2010 rectory will be a topic of study and debate of the Senate of the University of Murcia, to be held today, March 1, in regular session in the auditorium, the Merced campus.
The Senate, chaired by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, learn about the Report for the last year, and proceed to the election of the University Ombudsman, an office that has been presented a single candidate, José Manuel Palazón Espinosa, professor of the Faculty of Chemistry .
If elected, will succeed in this position to also Professor Augustine Miñana Aznar, who leaves office for his retirement.
The Senate will also consider the proposal of granting the honorary doctorate to Professor José Manuel Sánchez Vizcaíno Veterinary Rodriguez and Computing American professor Alan Kay, a pioneer in object-oriented programming.
