The Department of Youth and Employment, headed María Dolores Sánchez, held its first professional show business in Murcia, in order to publicize the work of the municipal Cofrisol Employment Workshop, taking place in the Training Centre and employment initiatives in El Palmar.
During the ceremony, the Councillor for Youth and Employment, María Dolores Sánchez, closed the workshop Cofriso IV, in which 40 students participated, who have been trained in the fields of cuisine, geriatric care, welding, renewable energy and climate.
The workshop Cofrisol IV ends on 21 December.
Student-workers are prepared to face the world of work and the Department of Employment organized yesterday afternoon meeting with businessmen of this town to have the opportunity to meet municipal facilities and the training they have received the students.
The event was attended by María Dolores Sánchez, Director General of Employment and Training Service of the SEF, Ginés Martínez; business sectors of the municipality of the workshops, the head of the Employment Service, Luis Foulquie and components Cofrisol Employment Workshop IV .
Attendees learned about the center's facilities and enjoy a meal prepared by students of the cooking workshop.
Once Cofrisol Employment Workshop IV will begin the workshop Cofrisol V, with the participation of 40 students, workers will be trained in geriatric care specialties, welding, air conditioning, kitchen and renewable energy.
These new workshops will begin in December, are aimed at people over 25 and will last one year.
Students, workers receive a monthly compensation of approximately 900 euros.
