The gold course at the University of Murcia, which is matched with the feast of Saint Eligius, patron saint of goldsmiths began with a presentation ceremony held at the Church Museum of San Juan de Dios, which included two lectures on Today's jewelry and Iberian.
The inauguration, presided over the course director, Professor of History of Art University, Jesus Rivas, was rector interventions Studies, Concepción Palacios, and Vice President for Innovation and convergence, Pilar Arnaiz.
20 to 25 November, will be held every afternoon from 16:00 pm in the Church Museum of San Juan de Dios and the Chamber of the Faculty of Arts, lectures by experts in the field silverware.
On Wednesday 25 the Chamber will host a panel discussion on "The silver today," and the launch of "Silver San Eloy Studies 2009."
The course ends on Thursday 26, coinciding with the feast of St. Eloy, for which scheduled the Mass of the charges, the chocolate in the Merced campus and the traditional collection of the Banner of the Guild and the Procession of the Gifts for the streets of Murcia.
