The Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Policy and Equality, María del Carmen Pelegrin, stressed this morning at the opening of the Second Conference on Gender Violence that youth is an important human potential to combat gender violence.
The conference, held in the auditorium of the building adjacent to the City of Murcia, will be held until next Friday, November 20 and will feature the participation of eight schools in the municipality.
In the presentation, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin has highlighted the important role played by students in the fight against gender violence, while given information about services from the council offered to women who are victims of ill- treatment.
"Relationship love and gender violence" is the title of the talk this morning has offered technical Women municipal area of the Department of Social Welfare and Equality Policies, Juana Herrera Bustamante.
After the lecture, the students of IES Infante Don Juan Manuel Saavedra Fajardo and visit the exhibition of works by students and teachers in the exhibition hall of El Carmen.
