The Department of Health and Social Services City of Murcia, who heads Fulgencio Cervantes, continues to work with Rasinet Federation (Federation of Social Support Network for Immigrant), which develops a housing program for immigrants.
Health and social services for 200,000 euros to this project, which involves managing a comprehensive stock of accommodation, housing and other resources for the integration of immigrants and disadvantaged groups.
Also, the federation encourages Rasinet coordination of the various organizations in support of these groups working in the region.
Murcia City Council has been working with the Federation since October 2005.
The program's goal is to provide housing for the immigrant community the equal accessibility to decent housing through a search engine to buy or rent.
It also creates a space for coordination and information among public and private entities to help improve the intervention in the social integration of immigrants and host society through multiculturalism.
Another task is the implementation, through new technologies, a system that allows foreign people seeking housing from across the Spanish geography.
