Students at the Faculty of Education at the University of Murcia, with support from the dean of the center, have launched a chorus that consists of thirty students belonging mostly to that center.
The choir has had the opportunity to act now in various acts of the Faculty and others organized by different institutions.
The group's main objective is to promote music and choral singing as an activity that promotes teamwork, youth participation, integration and enjoy their activities.
Its repertoire is based on ethnic and modern music from around the world, from African dance and Cuban son to the great successes of such figures as The Beach Boys, not to mention the Balkan music, Brazilian rhythms and movie soundtracks, including others.
The choir is accompanied on the rehearsals and concerts by the journalist Jaime Belmonte, a student of Composition at the Conservatory of Music in Caravaca de la Cruz, and directed by Jorge Lausanne, Musical Teaching student at the University of Murcia.
