The Socialist councilor Alfonso Navarro said that in 2007 the municipal revenue for traffic violations amounted to the amount of € 2,159,691, while in 2008 the collection on the same basis increased to the amount of € 5,514,441, a 258% more than in 2007.

Traffic violations.

Much less than expected

Alfonso Navarro explained that according to official data from the General Account, 2007, entered the city of Murcia 1,340,308 euros less than expected on account of traffic violations.

The amount foreseen in the 2007 budget was € 3,500,000 and raised the amount of € 2,159,691, 38% less than expected.

The level of implementation was thus 62%.

2008.

The socialist mayor insisted that in 2008 the situation changed dramatically.

Murcia City Council by the term "traffic violations" enters € 5,514,411, when the number was expected to raise € 4,000,000.
