Professor of Physiology and director of the Chronobiology Laboratory at the University of Murcia, Juan Antonio Madrid, held a conference that discussed "The biological clock of aging."
The talk was held in the auditorium of the University of the Merced campus, and is the result of the agreement between the Senior Classroom of this educational institution and the Fundación "la Caixa" to encourage the participation of older people in activities organized by both entities.
Juan Antonio Madrid raised in his lecture the importance of maintaining a biological rhythm and follow a specific schedule of sleep to improve the quality of life.
In this activity, attended by the University of Murcia, the rector of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz, the director of Senior Hall, Manuel Hernández, and by "la Caixa" Rosario Rios and Lourdes Maria Toribio responsible for the financial institution in Murcia.
