Will be held from 2 to 5 November in the Local Development Agency
The Department of Welfare, Equality and Participation Policy, which directs Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, through the Section for Women, has organized a course for immigrant women living in the city, in order to support their process of integration and prevent gender violence.
The training will start next Monday, November 2 and runs until 5 November.
Hours are from 10 to 12:30 am and will operate in the Local Development Agency.
This course has been granted by the Institute for Women in the Region of Murcia, through its training plan, 2009, and has among its objectives the following:
Providing women with information and training about procedures and the various resources and services that can be used on the route formed between the admission and residence.
Work specifics about the different realities of women from a gender perspective and Interculturalism (employment, gender violence, health, participation, community resources, etc.)..
Develop a future group cohesion.
Enhance the natural abilities "that exist in each and every one of us, for a given projection in support of other women.
Promote the empowerment of women through participation in society and through capacity building of women through training, knowledge sharing and networking.
Developed through creative expression as a method and a channel, presence, commitment and capacity of women.
Among the contents that are going to try include:
Gender identity, citizenship and multiculturalism.
Women's health.
Gender-based violence.
The work of women.
Culture and participation.
