The director of the Institute for Youth, Veronica Lopez, today introduced the photo exhibition 'Delirium', the artist Pablo Sola Murcia, opening tonight at 20:30 pm in the Youth Art Laboratory (LAB).
The exhibition includes a series of works in which the author works and adjust the picture to get a mix of fiction, exaggeration of reality and disguise.
The presentation was also attended by the director of the LAB, Sergio Porlán and photographer Pablo Sola.
The artist uses bright colors saturated pop heritage, evokes bizarre and ridiculous situations and gives your pictures a treatment kitsch that makes your work is, equally cynical and critical of contemporary society.
In his work, influenced the aesthetics of advertising, there are obvious references to artists such as Pierre et Gilles, the group formed by a photographer and a French painter famous for his ridiculous performances fueled by religious imagery and art pop, or Alan Glas, with their box art object.
The exhibition will remain in the LAB until 30 November and is integrated into the activities planned by the Laboratorio de Arte Joven, under the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia.
Pablo Sola shows a society empty but full of optimism, hedonism and intense.
Works for various prestigious publications as Rolling Stone, and nationwide, Revista 40, OKS, FHM and On Madrid.
He has received numerous awards, including first prize of Young Artists of Madrid (2006), Creajoven Photography Award (Murcia 2004) and third in the discipline of Visual Arts MurciaJoven (2005).
She has participated in exhibitions at the Casa de Vacas in Madrid or Fotoencuentros 08 in Murcia.
