The jury will decide today who are Creajoven winners in the category of Product Design.
21 projects by young designers compete for this award.
Creajoven this new modality, which was presented this year for the first time, is to reward prototypes, models, sketches and animations on objects that can be produced for use by individuals, use the habitat, work, outdoors or mobility.
With this discipline is to open the doors of Creajoven young designers and inventors of products related to the creative industry.
The jury met from 18 pm at the Department of Youth and Employment.
The members are: Councillor for Youth and Employment, María Dolores Sánchez (president), the designer April Julio Garcia, Alberto Garrido Iglesias, product design coordinator at the School of Applied Arts and María Dolores Rodríguez Abril, winner of the National Bored no designs that calls the Department of Tourism.
As secretary is John Albaladejo García, Head of Programs of the Youth Council.
The jury will consider the suitability and usability, accountability (to be socially innovative and beneficial to the environment) and the image.
Will award a first prize of 1,500 euros and two second prizes of 900 euros each.
