Councilman Festivals and Popular Culture, Rafael Gomez, this morning visited the Centro Cultural de Churra to view the status of work on the new show multiosos; a new space that will undoubtedly expand the leisure and cultural offer of the hamlet.
The new units, which have about 200 square meters which is the hall, toilets, storage and dressing rooms, in addition to the wide range of services offered by the parish to its neighbors.
A district that has experienced significant growth in recent years and that now exceeds the 6,200 inhabitants.
The multipurpose room is a new space, with capacity for over 150 people, according to Rafael Gomez "meets all the conditions necessary to accommodate any cultural or entertainment event to organize Churra some of its many social groups."
The multipurpose room will be used to practice all kinds of activities, including film, dance, painting exhibitions, concerts, theater ..., and he has created with everything you need to carry out any act of small and medium sized (for the dimensions of scenario).
In this sense, the scenario has a security fence around the perimeter and is formed by plates of superstructures that can be adjusted, allowing the lowering or raising the same as required by the spectacle that was to be held.
In addition, the living room sound systems, stage lighting, which requires installation of these features and is air conditioned, plus it offers a space for the possible holding of exhibitions from different fields.
As a novelty, the new units also feature an energy saving system, one aspect in which emphasis is being placed in all municipal offices.
The opening of new offices, located next to City Hall will be held in the coming days.
The total amount of new units has been 421,608 euros.
