The Councillor for Social Welfare Policy and Equality, María del Carmen Pelegrin, and the Councillor for Youth and Employment, María Dolores Sánchez, inaugurated this morning the day 'female entrepreneur in a move towards equality', organized by the Association of Business and Professional Women Social Economy of the Region, AMESAL.
The conference, aimed at entrepreneurs and business owners, aims to raise awareness of key women's entrepreneurship, experience and helps show that there is targeting women entrepreneurs.
Maria del Carmen Pelegrin explained that since the Social Welfare has been working on the vast network of 74 Centres Women who are offered training and information to all women with the objective of equal employment or create a company.
Also, the Councillor stated in every hamlet and neighborhood centers are intended to have the conciliation (kindergartens) for children range from 0 to 3 years and many of these centers are formed by cooperatives run by women.
For its part, María Dolores Sánchez pointed out that since his Department are put in place initiatives aimed at women to find employment and become entrepreneurs.
Training, technical assistance, career guidance, the Local Employment Center for Women, which offers a variety of services to guide women in finding work and building a business, and Business Project Competition, financially supporting new ideas, are some of the initiatives carried out from City Hall.
