The Pop Art Festival 'AlterArte 2009', which began Oct. 19 and will end tomorrow, hosts tonight from 21:30 pm in the Garden Floridablanca in Murcia, the performance of 'Wicked', a work of terror Bilbao Company Organik theater and dance.
The show 'Wicked' is based on the sculptures of 'cursed children' by sculptor Alberto Saavedra who, in turn, was inspired by the movie 'The Village of the Damned. "
The work, which travels to different universes, shows their relationships and tensions, ranging from terror to humor.
With music as the protagonist, the dancers move with sculptures creating a grim atmosphere of uncertainty.
Contemporary dance also is the show 'Block-T', the choreographer Nacho Montero Bilbao, which will be held 20:00 pm in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga.
In this work Montero, along with the dancer Alvaro Esteban, carrying the body to the limits of endurance, with travel, meetings, clashes and tensions.
Students in the School of Art and Design in the Murcia region are involved in a project of urban intervention of the festival through 'mapping', an action that takes place at 17:00 hours in the Plaza de San Bartholomew, which is shared masking tape to anyone who wants to participate to draw figures on the floor.
