The Department of Tourism of the City of Murcia on Saturday offers a guided tour of the district of San Lorenzo, within the program 'yourself be guided. "
This is the first route of this project which aims to take to the streets in the history of the neighborhoods of Murcia for participants to learn the legends and secrets of the streets.
The visit takes place on Saturday, October 24, after 10 hours.
Participants will tour San Lorenzo, a neighborhood that went from suburb in medieval times, a typical district of Murcia with the presence of religious orders, traders and students.
The visit will know the former location of the Jewish Quarter, the old granary, Trinidadians and Mercy convents, the famous legend of the Virgen del Cuello Eye, the coquette, the church of San Lorenzo and Piazza Abastos.
The Councillor of Tourism, Maria Isabel Valcarcel, explained that the new routes through neighborhoods are matched to events occurring in the area such as festivals and various events to introduce participants to different aspects of the city and its traditions.
The route through San Lorenzo will be repeated on November 14th and San Pedro and Santa Catalina will visit on 31 October.
The registration period is open.
To participate in one of these visits must register Aldaba 2000.
