El Centro Municipal Puertas de Castilla hosts the exhibition "State of Pain 'which, accompanied by a seminar, is defined as a research project in which two speeches, the psychoanalytic and the doctor, are articulated artistic productions.
The project will address Javier Codesal and Alex French, artists, Montserrat Rodríguez, a psychoanalyst.
The coordinates of the seminar are determined by the works on display: Suffering, Javier Codesal production, visuals and waiting areas of pain, Alex French and states of pain, Montserrat Rodríguez.
Video art piece with Mourning, Codesal show a conversation between two women which is the subject of pain, both physical and emotional, and was shot in the Auditorium of La Alberca.
Thus, the appearance of the video is a conversation between several people in the presence of all, the model is the debate in a TV studio, although in this case was recorded for each person separately and without communications exchange between them.
Alex French signed two pieces of video art and a series of photographs.
'Visual device of waiting', consists of three levels: visually, flat and ethically sound.
The sample is formed by a camera and two microphones, with a plan of nursing of a bull ring and two different audio jacks, one inside and one on the plaza.
Is projected on two screens and recorded in the streets of Granada, Cordoba and Vitoria, which was fighting Rafaelillo.
The interior chamber of nursing is primarily concerned with the operating table, the external microphone does the sound of what happens in the race.

The second part, Pain experience and transmission and articulate the transferable concepts from experience, experience the pain of others in the process of transmission.
This part of the exhibition is linked directly to the seminar and parts Codesal and French.
Rodriguez's work is based on the explanatory text on the screen of a computer that will vary each day.
And thanks to the installation of a printer, it offers visitors the chance to take part or all of the text.
In this exhibition and seminar, and to think about pain as a dimension, a place of meaning, will address the ethical uses of aesthetics articulated contemporary thought.
