This morning has been opened to traffic the new road between Avenue of the Kingdom of Murcia, Juan de Borbon y which is a continuation of Avenida Principe de Asturias.
The new road is called City of Aranjuez and has a length of 912 meters, two lanes, 3.50 meters wide, central reservation and interior and exterior sidewalk of 0.50 meters.
The median is decorated with 150 artificial grass and dwarf palms.
It also has automatic irrigation.
The Deputy Mayor of Planning, Fernando Berberena, has seen the new road next to the presidents of the Municipal Boards of Zarandona, Purification Manzano, and Santiago and Zaraíche, José María Puig.
This road extension of Avenida Principe de Asturias, joins the Kingdom of Murcia Avenida Juan de Borbon y Juan Carlos I (at the height of Zigzag).
In total, the road is 2,200 meters long.
With this road clears Juan de Borbon y Juan Carlos I and speeds up the circulation in the area Zarandona, Cabeza de Torres and Santiago and Zaraíche.
Avenue has a capacity of 45,000 vehicles moving day, although the forecast traffic is 27,000 vehicles per day.
This road, along with the expansion of Admiral Loaysa, which is under construction and will open to traffic in two months, will connect the Kingdom of Murcia Avenida Juan de Borbon y Juan Carlos I at different points.
This will create road cross the great ring road east of the city (Avenida de Los Dolores, Miguel Indurain and the Kingdom of Murcia Avenue), which connects south Round Juan de Borbon y Juan Carlos I.
