The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, held a meeting this morning with the Director General of the Air Academy and Chief of the San Javier Air Base, Juan Antonio Ortega Vázquez.
The interview protocol nature was held in his office at City Hall and takes place a few weeks after his inauguration.
Throughout his career, has been awarded the Knights Cross of the Royal and Military Order of San Hermenegildo, two of Aeronautical Merit Cross, Cross of Naval Merit, Honorable Mention and a NATO Medal.
In his military career has also received merit badges for Peacekeeping Operations, the Standing Faculty and Schools Schools and Permanence in the ADEM.
In recent years he has served on the School of reactors, the Air Staff in the European Air Group and the General Air Academy, which since 2006 has served as director of studies.
