The Mayor came to San Buenaventura school students for the offering to San Francisco de Asis (02/10/2009)

The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, and a group of three hundred students and teachers of Colegio San Buenaventura de Murcia have held this morning on the day of St. Francis of Assisi, founder of the Capuchin order, with a ceremony on the Malecon.

Students gathered around the statue of St. Francis of Assisi, who presides over the seawall and have recited prayers, and made an offering of flowers, accompanied by the Mayor of Murcia and their teachers.
