The University of Murcia has organized the First Conference of Occupational Health and Safety and Gender Perspective, held on days one and two in October at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Campus de Espinardo.
Over the following days will be discussed issues such as women and work, occupational health prevention from a gender perspective and adaptation of the Law on Prevention of Occupational Risks to the university, among others.
At the meeting, which was organized by the Management and Coordination for the Prevention of the University of Murcia, involving academics and other specialists.
During this conference will be held a plenary session of the Working Group of the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) Environmental Quality, Sustainable Development and Prevention of Occupational Risks.
The Conference was inaugurated today with a ceremony during which the chancellor of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, and the manager, Pedro Gálvez.
