A total of 643 students at the University of Murcia participate this course starting in one of the international mobility programs offered, representing an increase over the figures achieved last year.
The figures were in the welcoming ceremony that the University offered to foreign students who will attend during this semester studying at the institution Murcia.
The rector of International Relations and Communication, Maria Angeles Esteban, noted that there has been an effort to improve management systems on-line, which has enabled it to provide accommodation to these students.
In terms of figures, one of the most significant increases have occurred in the Erasmus Internship Program, which offers this call a total of 70 scholarships, 36 children participating in 2008/2009.

In relation to national mobility in the framework of SICUE / Seneca, there have been 30 students and sent a total of 90 universities throughout the country.
With this act of institutional reception, which was chaired by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, and attended the University general director, Eduardo Osuna, started the International Welcome Week.
During this week we will develop a busy schedule of events designed for foreign students, which includes among its activities, sightseeing tours, film session and a night devoted to tapas.
