The ceremony took place this afternoon at the Youth Center Ship of Bacons Bridge
"This diploma certifies that you are true artists in the kitchen."
That's how it started its intervention Councilwoman Youth and Employment, Lola Sanchez, presented diplomas to the 24 participants in the First Officer Course Basic Cooking and Nutrition for the Disabled.
The diploma ceremony was held at the Youth Center Ship of Bacons Bridge.
The participants are students of the school Assido, Astrapace and Gabriel Pérez Murcia Prison, aged between 18 and 30 years of age.
The course focused primarily on providing young people with the necessary nutritional guidelines that should have when preparing their own meals, choosing those most appropriate food for a balanced diet.
This first course in cooking and nutrition has also served as a base to conduct other workshops on cooking and nutritious diet, promoting social inclusion among young people.
The course and workshops have been developed over two quarters in the School-LimónySal kitchen.
Moreover, the councilman of Youth has been accompanied by the delegate of Bacons Bridge Youth, May Lee, the chairman of the Municipal Board of Monteagudo, Marco Antonio Fernandez, and the NETS program coordinator of the City of Murcia, Javier Hidalgo.
