Musical Documentation Center of the Region of Murcia, under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, welcomed the presentation of the 'Guitar Classical and Popular Music', by its author, Victor Rodriguez.
The course will be held tomorrow at 19:00 pm in the Training Room of Archives (Avenida de Los Pinos, 4).
The method for learning the guitar has a progressive didactic and basic techniques necessary for good performance.
It is a work of Victor Rodriguez and Pepe Ferre, musicians and guitarists with a long history of teaching guitar, which was funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Province of Santa Fe (Argentina).
It proposes a series of original papers, based on the rhythm and the sonority of the instrument
The method was collected in a book which also includes the feature of the guitar, which is its proximity to popular music.
Víctor Rodríguez (Rosario, Argentina, 1952) is professor of the School of Music, Faculty of Humanities and Arts at UNR (Rosario).
He began his apprenticeship with Francisco San Martín, continuing later with Grace and teachers Pompilio Jorge Martinez Zarate and Enrique Núñez.
Attended teacher workshops Aberle Carlevaro in Porto Alegre (Brazil) and Mar del Plata and Rosario (Argentina).
