September 21: call world attention to the weather!
On 7 December Copenhagen summit begins on climate.
It will decide on the arrangements that will determine the future of the planet as climate change concerns.
You could say that the countdown has begun.
Avaaz's international network has promoted for 21 September more than 350 events in 54 countries across 5 continents.
The idea is that people send a message to governments to call attention to the weather and get fair deals, ambitious and binding.
Plans for the events of September 21 are fascinating in their variety: a meeting in Ethiopia will intensify drums to sound the alarm.

And everywhere, from Berlin to Buenos Aires, Avaaz members will gather in spontaneous and peaceful actions in public spaces to sound the alarm on their cell phones, flooding their governments with phone calls demanding action against climate change and generate a deafening noise.
In Murcia the event is to construct the message STOP CO2 with a hundred people sitting on the floor of the cathedral square.
