The Governing Council has approved an agreement by which the city of Murcia will receive a total of one hundred million euros to carry out the projects of coastal North and South and variant Sangonera la Verde, which will improve road communications of the municipality of Murcia.

All these actions, funded annually by the Ministry of Public Works and Planning to the year 2018, investment is part of contingency plan for economic revitalization and the Consolidation of Employment in the Region of Murcia 2008-2012 .

The North Coast, 12 miles, replacing pathways linking Espinardo and Gunpowder Factory (RM-B3) and this with Nonduermas (RM-B4).

Is being implemented and Torres Cabezo link with The Nora.

Its construction will decongest roads RM-B3, which binds Espinardo, Guadalupe, La Ă‘ora, Javalí New Javalí Viejo, and the RM-A4, which connects with Cobatillas Espinardo.

The south coast, 10 kilometers, and also under implementation, will serve to realign the road traffic Beniaján El Palmar (RM-302) and Murcia to Station Stables, through Beniaján (RM -300).

This road connects the town of El Palmar with TorreagĂĽera.

The project envisages construction of three lanes in each direction to provide better flow in this area.

Sangonera the Green Alternative

For its part, the implementation of the Green Sangonera variant is a diversion road to the current urban journey through the heart of the hamlet, the RM-603 to Mazarrón.

The work is raised in two tranches, with a total length of 9.72 kilometers.

The first phase, inaugurated in April this year, has a length of two miles and includes a total of six roundabouts, with two hits on the main street of the hamlet of Murcia and other Integrated Transportation Centre of Murcia.

In addition, this infrastructure prevents the passage of more than 18,000 vehicles on average per day in the center of Sangonera la Verde.
