The City Council signed an agreement with Red Cross for the development of prevention and care work (16/09/2009)

Carry out the development of prevention and assistance in holding various activities and public events is the objective of the collaboration agreement signed between the city of Murcia and the Spanish Red Cross, and has received the approval of the Governing Board .

Under that agreement, both institutions shall, by mutual agreement, the development of programs and activities of medical transport, in:

Emergency activities.

Hedging activities schedule of public events, festivals and sports events organized by the City, making this infrastructure available material resources and the human element-the volunteers.

The cooperation agreement will be valid for one year and the financial contribution earmarked by the City of Murcia is 42,000 euros.
