The City Council supports the practice of handball and swimming with the award of grants to various clubs in the municipality.

Specifically, the Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, BM Ademur subsidizes the Fuensanta Swim Club and Swim Club Murcia.

The purpose of the Sports Council is to bring the sport to all Murcia, promote the sport among children and young people and facilitate access to quality facilities at an affordable price.
