Murcia City Council of the State Fund has received 49.5 million euros from the Government of Spain and the final payment of 4 of its projects
The government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, this morning visited the works that will connect through a new avenue Sangonera Sangonera the Green and the Dry.
This project was requested by the city of Murcia to the funding by the Local Investment Fund.

The project has a budget allocation of 5,372,285 euros and creates 34 new jobs.
Of this amount, the Government of Spain has already transferred to the City of Murcia, 70 percent, 3,760,600 euros.
The rest will be paid upon completion of the works and justifying the investment.
The works are due to conclude in late November this year.
8.5 million investment in construction in the Green Sangonera
The Government delegate pointed out that the Local Investment Fund will invest 8.5 million euros in various works requested by the city of Murcia.
These works generate 152 jobs in this area.
Besides the new road connection between the Green and Sangonera Sangonera la Seca, González Tovar stressed:
The new avenue of connection between the Green Sangonera ring and MU-603 road.
This work has a budget allocation of EUR 2,317,470.

The Civil Guard barracks
Finally, the government delegate recalled that still awaits the signing of a cooperation agreement between the city of Murcia and the Ministry of Interior for transfer of the Civil Guard barracks at Sangonera la Verde.
González Tovar said that this collaboration was proposed by the Home Office over a year and a half, in February 2008.
