The managing director of the Housing and Land Institute (IVS) in the Region of Murcia, Jane Brown, recalled that young people today have until Sept. 16 to submit their applications and apply for one of the 12 homes that the region has plans to build in Espinardo, within the Regional Youth Housing Plan.
In this sense, Brown said "the award shall be made in a notary public drawing to be held on 24th September at the Ministry of Public Works and Planning."
To enter the drawing must be presented before the 16th of September, the formal application and be pre-registered in the Register of Claimants of the Autonomous Community.
In addition, applicants must be 35 years or less and meet the requirements established by Royal Decree that regulates the activities on social housing, which can be viewed at www.carm.es.
The instance is available in the Official Gazette of the Murcia Region of September 1, 2009, and the IVS has to be directed through the General Register of the Ministry or the extensive network of single regional government.
Finally, the managing director added that "the allocation of housing by drawing notary ensures compliance with the principles of equality, transparency, objectivity and competition.
It also guarantees equal opportunities to all citizens of the region who wish to apply for one of these homes and meet the requirements. "
3 bedroom houses on Main Street
The plot on which to build the new housing development was granted by the regional government to IVS with the aim of facilitating access to housing for a group of priority, such as young people in the Region of Murcia under 35 .
It is located on Main Street in the most central of Espinardo, and has an area of 250 square meters.
With respect to housing characteristics, Brown said "this is a total of 12 units with an area of 90 square meters and three bedrooms, which also include garage, storage room and private terrace.
Prices range between 87,900 and 161,500 euros.
