The Delegation of the Government prevented the rehabilitation of 80 homes of patronage Francisco Franco found in the district of San Andrés and the Holy Spirit Espinardo.
The Department of Housing of the City of Murcia, run by Antonio Castillo, has reached an agreement with the Housing Institute of the Autonomous Community to finance 75% of the projects to rehabilitate these blocks, which are badly damaged.
The City Council in March asked the Delegation of Government financing 25% of the remaining works, since the Board is the responsibility of the Administration of the State, they have given no answer, thus impeding the rehabilitation of these homes.
The Delegation of the Government responded to the City indicating that he moved the proposal of the Autonomous Community Consistory and the Delegate of Economy and Finance in Murcia, President of the Liquidation Committee of the Board, which has not ruled on this issue.
Antonio Castillo expressed his indignation at the neglect of the Government Commission, which has not advanced a single step in the regulation of these homes since early last year the Board met Francisco Franco.
In San Andres there are 20 houses of the Board located in Bowling Street.
The estimated cost of rehabilitation is 200,000 euros, 100,000 euros to finance the Institute's Housing and Land, 50,000 and 50,000 the City State Administration.
In the neighborhood of the Holy Spirit Espinardo there are 60 houses of the Board, in School Street, Seville, San Ignacio, and Carmen Red.
The budget is 540,000 euros, of which 270,000 will be financed by the Autonomous Community, 135,000 and 135,000 by the City Council by the Administration.
