Library users can check the Segura River and books that are considered a jewel in the publishing world.
The library has expanded its funding of nine books containing a total of 173 serigraphs by artists or writers Murcia and are building now Bibliophile Editions and Artist Books.
These nine books are titled "Carmen Conde, twenty artists, eighty poems ',' Blue Eyes '' Mythologies-Murcia ',' The Divine Comedy ',' Topology Topological hermeneutic or hermeneutics ',' The Unknown Masterpiece ',' The tear-drinker ',' History Detectives 'and' La Rosa Negra lit. "
The latter two have received the third national award 2006 and the first National Award 2004, Best Edited Books, in the form of Bibliophile Books issued by the Ministry of Culture.
Also, 'Topology hermeneutic or hermeneutics topological' and 'History Detectives' is published in both Spanish and English, while 'Blue Eyes' is published in Spanish, English and French.
Among the artists who made the prints include Vicente Ruiz, Antonio Martinez Mengual, Christopher Gabarrón, and Manolo Muher Belz, while among the authors who have written texts for books stand Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga, Arturo Perez Reverte, Carlos Valcarcel Ramallo or Gimferrer Germain Pere, among others
All books are large format because they measure 44x32x5 cm.
There are more than 1,300 pages which combine art and editorial quality, going beyond what is an ordinary book, and where you can see the work, both written and painted by artists from Murcia linked directly to Murcia.
The publisher now and Books Bibliophile Editions Artist was born in Murcia in 2000 and has so far published fourteen books, which has won three national awards for Best Edited Book.
In addition, the publisher has been participating every year since 2003, the ARCO Contemporary Art Fair.
