The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General for Transport and Highways, has tendered works of the highway RM-F8, which links the districts of Monteagudo in Murcia and Casillas, with a budget of 295,327 euros .
This project includes, among other actions, improving the staging of buses and the replacement of water by sewage outlets connected to the various existing ditches to facilitate drainage, actions are also developed in other parts of Road Network of the Community.
The works will be executed on the initial section of the road affecting Casillas, Llano de Brujas and Monteagudo.
This is a busy road by the inhabitants of these villages, reaching more traffic record of 7,000 vehicles a day, 10 percent of them heavy.
As explained by the general director, Jose Guijarro, "works to be carried out on the road once completed the tender dossier will improve pedestrian accessibility to the villages in the area, to build new sidewalks from the neighborhood of the Cave, in Monteagudo to the Cross of Casillas, and projecting pedestrian crossings and fords to facilitate vehicle access to some nuclei of existing homes on either side of the road. "
