E-mail services at the University of Murcia have achieved the highest qualification in the evaluation process carried out within the RACE Project, which coordinates the network of scientific papers "Iris."

The RACE Project of advanced e-mail networks, aims to establish national measurement standard indicators of quality to evaluate these services in the integrated institutions in that RedIRIS, which now number 350.

The Department of Information Technology and Applied Communications (ATIC) at the University of Murcia has undergone evaluation of their email services, which has been carried out by technicians of the Higher Council for Scientific Research.

The University will receive after the summer break RACE certificate at advanced level, representing the highest qualification that has been recognized.
