The researchers believe that this is the largest distributors of such material in the region
Agents of the Police Headquarters of Murcia belonging to the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police have carried out an operation that has involved more than 20,000 pieces of fake jewelry, imitation of models and brands that specialize in such items.
The investigations, which have culminated in the arrest of two people most responsible for the facts, pulled earlier this year, after finding that Murcia was an important storage and distribution of counterfeit material.
After conducting investigations, it was know that the material was stored in a house in the hamlet of Los Dolores Murcia, and in a bazaar, run by the detainees and placed under the same address, were held to such sale material.
To do so, some pieces of jewelry of lower quality were placed in conspicuous places of the establishment and invited guests who cared for them to access the back of the local or home located on the top floor, which showed counterfeit higher quality, including reproductions of the original packaging and labels supposedly.
Once all necessary data collected, on Wednesday 29 July, launched the police operation, with arrests reported, included the practice of records in the housing and the bazaar and allowed to speak a huge amount of spare fake jewelry, along with a smaller amount of other elements, also forged, such as handbags or belts.
Most of these items were in the house, while in the bazaar had a sample of the genre available.
There is evidence that much of the material involved was intended to be distributed to other bazaars with similar characteristics.
The detainees, both Chinese nationals, are H.CH.
and LE, 36 and 25 years old respectively, who are considered responsible for an industrial property crime.
Both will be made available to the examining magistrate in Murcia Guard duties in the morning.
