The Municipal Socialist Group calls on the regional administration give greater funding to the city of Murcia after quitting, once again, in the lurch.
During the celebration of the extraordinary plenary session, the Socialist spokesman Jose Maria Alarcon, recalled the failures of the regional government in Murcia Town Hall on economic matters.
Where I say, I say Diego
So Valcárcel stressed that in his inaugural speech referred to the Local Compact and the need to overcome the problem of financing the municipalities.
However, Alarcón denounced, one year later, the regional budgets game froze funding to the municipalities.
Investment in danger
The Socialist spokesman also pointed out that while the Government of Spain has approved the Local Investment Plan providing the region of 248 million euros for investment in the municipalities of the Region, 75 million have gone to the coffers city of this Consistory, the regional government, as a patch, intended for current spending 14 million euros for the whole community, threatening the investments.
The House-regrets attitude is deplorable Alarcon.
"Use the Meeting Room of the City Council for a purpose quite partisan, just look at the Autonomous Community with eyes of desire because their only aim is to occupy the chair as President of the Region."
