The Governing Board intends to reunite all the Supreme Court of First Instance Courts and Criminal (28/07/2009)

Several representatives of the Justice have been consulted about the possibility of moving the Courts of First Instance, except the two Family, the building Torres JMC ', while the Penal be relocated on the ground floor of the courthouse, along with a new Office of Public Service.

The Board of Governors of the High Court of the Region of Murcia (TSJ-RM) today proposed a number of representatives of the Justice reunification in the same building, all the Courts of First Instance, with the exception of the two in charge of the Family Court.

The meeting was attended, representing the various sectors that make up the Administration of Justice, Judge Dean, Miguel Pasqual de Riquelme, the coordinating secretary of the Supreme Court, Nieves Sánchez Ruíz, the Deputy Director General Works and Heritage, Marta García Nart, and the Regional Manager Justice, Julia Garcia de la Calzada, and the area chief, Antonio Martín Quirós.

This proposal is given by the lack of spaces to locate these courts, until it has completed Phase II of the City of Justice, which is scheduled for 2012.

Thus, the Courts of First Instance 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 would be located in the new building 'Torres JMC' and abandon their former headquarters, located in the building ' Dimóvil ', leaving the Courts of First Instance devoted exclusively to Family, 3 and 9, in its present location in the building' INTI '.

The new division would move raised the Juvenile Courts, together with the Office and Technical Equipment attached to the building 'INTI', in space that would free the Court of First Instance No. 12.

Another possibility that the Board of Governors has proposed to the partners of Justice is to place the juvenile in the building 'Torres JMC', along with the rest of the Courts of First Instance.

Moreover, the space that would leave the Juvenile Court would be used to create a new courtroom.

Another proposal which has made the Board of Governors is to reunite in one place all criminal jurisdiction, placing it on the ground floor of the courthouse, where once stood the Civil Registry.

In the proposed redistribution of the ground floor would also accommodate an Office of Public Service, as demanded by both users and by representatives of the Supreme Court, "necessary to provide quality service to citizens", as stated by its president, Juan Martínez Moya, during the presentation of the Judicial Report 2008.
