The Socialist Municipal Group PP requires the modification of the agreement which includes a commitment by the City Council CARM to transfer money for maintenance of 27 regional roads that change ownership and become local.
The agreement, approved Thursday in plenary, commits the Consistory to further finance the construction of the North Coast and South, and the diversion of Sangonera the truth, and take ownership of 25 regional roads.
A zero cost
For the mayor of the PSOE José Zapata, Mayor House has committed a grave error by assuming the transfer of these regional roads without requiring the regional government a penny for maintenance.
"We agree with these roads which become municipal ownership, but not at zero cost, because if powers are transferred, they must be accompanied by budgetary resources", defends Zapata.
In this sense, the socialist council says that "can not aggravate the economic and financial situation of the council with costs that are unique to the regional administration."
Therefore, the Socialist Party calls on the PP of La Glorieta requiring the regional Autonomous what it deserves in terms of municipal finance.
"House should adopt the same standards that demonstrating against the Government of Spain with the regional government."
