Twenty adults and forty children share activities in the Summer School to celebrate the Department of Social Welfare and Equality Policies in the public school Infante Juan Manuel.
The Councillor for Social Welfare Policy Equality and Citizenship, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, has participated this morning in one of the activities.
Adults who are parents of young children, have participated in the training and promotion program for people experiencing social difficulties, which aims to consolidate their skills and social skills and work to improve their education and social and cultural promotion.
During the course of the summer school parents put into practice the knowledge acquired during the year, sharing with their children and monitor a space of playful learning and education.
At the same time, all participate in leisure activities and free time promoting respect for others, respect for the environment, the development of healthy habits, encourage reading, etc.
The summer school will be held from 1 to 24 July from 10am to 15.30.
Participants come from different neighborhoods and districts of Murcia and the City will subsidize transportation.
Among the activities is:

-Review of skills taught during the training course for adults
-Workshops stories, games, crafts, drawing, astronomy.
Visits to various museums and Regional Library
-Excursion to the beach
Water-sports Games
"Reading Promotion
-Pool
-Preparing breakfast and midmorning snack between parents and children to work issues related to healthy diet
