Scientists at the University of Murcia have developed a catalytic system for the drying of offset inks that solves the existing problem so far, and that this process was limited by the maximum amount of accelerant that could be added.
Research conducted at the University of Murcia by Professor Pedro Antonio García Ruiz drying accelerators confined in microcapsules added to the ink, so that they are released only at the time of printing, so you can get new ink " fresh "drying much faster than those available so far.
The research, which has involved also the fellow Javier Esparza Molina, has been carried out under a project that the company "Inks Martínez Ayala" developed in collaboration with the University of Murcia and funded by the Center for Industrial Technology Development .
Within this project has also developed eco inks, which use natural oils instead of mineral oil contaminants makes them environmentally friendly and ensure the highest quality.
