Note from PSOE:
Socialist Councilman José Manuel Abellán has presented this initiative in the form of motion after receiving citizen complaints to the limited number of taxis serving this stop when they train to Murcia
Again PP roll stars in the plenary session of July.
On this occasion, the city government voted against the motion put forward by the socialist mayor José Manuel Abellán requesting an increase in taxis off at the railway station of El Carmen.
With this negative-Abellán, the PP states are giving back to the just demands of the users of this service in Murcia.
In this sense, the mayor of the PSOE Abellán remember that this motion came after complaints that a citizens' group sent the Socialist Group, which we have seen, to the small number of taxis serving this station when trains arrive from other destinations in the city of Murcia.
"Very few passenger-complaint, which can take a taxi, being forced to wait for a while or notice by telephone to the station to send a vehicle, which increases the service already is expensive."
Lastly, it shows the mayor of the PSOE, "we must remember that the regulation of the taxi industry is under municipal jurisdiction, so it is the City Council who must ensure that this service is provided efficiently and effectively.
