The Municipal Group Socialist councilor Alfonso Navarro defended a motion in Parliament tomorrow, Thursday to demand that the autonomous region to meet its financial commitments and pay the City of Murcia all outstanding amounts set out in the 2008 municipal budget from the regional government and that spread over different items, amounting to a total of 8,740,000 euros.
It is striking, Navarro claim that major budget items of income of the City Council in 2008, included in Chapter 7 (capital transfers autonomous regions) show a palpable difference between what should have transferred the CARM (€ 22,624,172) and finally received the Consistory (€ 13,883,888).
A difference highlights the socialist mayor of over eight million euros, a 38.34% less is what the City of Murcia has lost by the regional government.
