Athletes of the UCAM, Yaiza Martín, and Miguel Angel López Nicolás, European champions in their respective categories (21/07/2009)

Athletes of the UCAM, Yaiza Martín, and Miguel Angel Lopez Nicolas, recently proclaimed champions of Europe in their respective categories to get gold medals.

The karate Yaiza Martin, won the title of European Champion University, both in individual and team mode in the European Championships, University of Cordoba.

Moreover, the walker Miguel Angel Lopez Nicolas, became champion of the UEFA European Under-23 Championship in the Lithuanian city of Kaunas, improving by more than a minute personal best.
