The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, expressed his satisfaction and joy in knowing the appointment of José Manuel Lorca Murcia as Bishop of Cartagena.
Chamber recalled that he left the diocese to take charge of Teruel-Albarracín after an impeccable track record, marked by the most absolute devotion and dedication, both during his time as pastor of St. Nicholas and later in San Miguel and its condition Vicar General of the Diocese of Cartagena.
The mayor added that also fondly remembers who had the honor of accompanying the new bishop of Cartagena during his inauguration in Teruel, along with hundreds of Murcia who expressed support and appreciation to the then new prelate.
The mayor, who this morning has had the opportunity to personally congratulate José Manuel Lorca, recalled that "with the Archbishop of Burgos, Francisco Gil, born in Nora, and the Bishop of Alto, Bolivia, Jesus Juarez, are three Murcia excellent ambassadors. "
