The residents of El Palmar and Sucina will have greater educational opportunities thanks to the Board of Governors has approved the project and specifications for the procurement of construction of new units and educational units in both districts.
In total, this is an extension of six units and dining in the CEIP Sucina Arteaga, and the first phase of construction of a new education center in El Palmar, with six units for children.
The total amount of proceedings, to be funded by the Autonomous Region is 2,136,000 euros.
The new educational center in El Palmar, whose lands were made available to the Directorate General for School of the Ministry of Education last year, will have a plot of 10,000 square meters and is located in the Partial Plan for the La Granja hamlet, in addition to the six public schools than is currently the parish, as well as another center will include a concerted plot, donated by the local administration, more than 6,300 square meters.
The works covered in this first phase will focus on the construction of six units of child, which will create a total of 150 squares.
In the case of CEIP Sucina Arteaga, the works are extension of six units of high child, which will offer over 150 seats.
The land, which was ceded to the autonomous region, occupies a total area of 3,777 meters square.
The City Council will be responsible for providing this area of electric energy services, water and sewerage services in addition to carrying out the maintenance and upkeep of new facilities.
