The Board of the University of Murcia, who chairs Juan Bernal, today issued a favorable preliminary report concerning the implementation of 31 titles for the next grade level.
The proposal, presented by the government team at the University collects, among other titles, the Fine Arts, Biology, Law, Economics, Chemical Engineering, Speech, Biotechnology and Tourism.
All these titles, as part of the supply of nearly forty that the University will launch next year, are adapted to the Bologna process.
During the Council meeting, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, reported on the determination of the government team to launch the Masters School in 2009-2010, "as there are social reasons that make it appropriate."
"However, he added, is not yet solved the issue of funding, for which there was contact with officials from the Ministry of Education and the region."
The Social Council will address the implementation of this master, which will replace the current teaching certificate (CAP), at its meeting scheduled to take place at the end of the current month of July.
