Collaboration in activities in support of patent research and intellectual property is the subject of agreement between the University of Murcia and the company ELZABURU, SLP in the building of Convalescence, home of the Rector of the educational institution.
The agreement also includes the joint training seminars for technical staff of the university technology transfer and workshops to inform researchers on industrial property rights.
The agreement also contemplates cooperation in areas such as feasibility analysis of patents for research groups, economic valuation of these or the search for markets for patents.
The signatories, the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho and CEO ELZABURU, SLP, Antonio Tavira, stressing that the agreement between the two entities have an impact on a key point for the university as is the transfer of results research.
The Vice Chancellor for Research and initiator of the agreement, Juan María Vázquez, reported that the University of Murcia has reached one hundred patents and welcomed the electronic registration of patents in the field that is a pioneer educational institution.
