The University of Murcia and Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (Mexico) signed in a ceremony held at the Convalescence, a collaboration agreement for the exchange of researchers, teachers and students.
Moreover, according to the promoter of the agreement, Professor of Nutrition and Food Science, María Jesús Periago, this framework agreement covers the implementation of research projects in branches of common interest to both institutions.
The organization of coordinated teaching and conducting joint editions of monographs are other actions that are contemplated in the agreement signed today.
The Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez, which has close contacts with American universities for their border situation, is among the five most important in Mexico.
The event was attended, by the University of Murcia, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, Research Coordinator, Gaspar Ros, and the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Antonio Rouco, while the Mexican university, the Professor Joaquin Rodrigo.
