The City Council promotes the work of St. Basil Sports Association (08/07/2009)

Murcia City Council is working with St. Basil Sports Association to promote the work of promoting the practice of physical activity and sport.

This association carries out social work interest that goes beyond the purely sporting level, and that undertakes the promotion of football among the youth of the neighborhood and surrounding areas, encouraging the fans to the sport.

The Department of Sports, headed by Miguel Cascales, supports projects that promote the sport among children, youth and adults, especially in neighborhoods and districts.
