A total of 11 pears from four countries-Spain, Portugal, Puerto Rico and the Netherlands, participating in the XIII edition of the International Competition of Tunas Barrio del Carmen, to be held on 9, 10 and 11 July in the artillery barracks.
The Tunas contest will not only music to this site, but its participants, a total of 400, made rounds through the streets of the city, Murcia inviting you to join this event.
Also, every night will be free tastings at the end of concerts.
The two awards given in competition this year have fallen bullfighter Rafael Rubio Rafaelillo as Grand Master and the singer Tamara as Godmother.
Tamara is also the star of the special concert event, to be held on Friday 10 July.
Muher (Totana) are the authors of the poster, which represents the vibrancy, joy and color of the cactus, in a busy box that plunges at this event.
The event will be seen live via the Internet thanks to support from the University of Murcia, through the web www.tunadistritomurcia.com
